Welcome to rollerski in Oulu in August!

OHS and Tervahiihto organize together an unique rollerskiing event RullaTervahiihto on Saturday 19th August. Rollerskiing is done in classic style from Utajärvi (53km) or Muhos (27km) to Oulu, Madekoski.

• Classic style
• Race series: M 55km/W 27km (SkiGo carbon ski)
• Recreational series: M/W 27km ja 55km
• Registration fee: 25€

Start

• Utajärvi icehall 13.30
• Muhos Korkalavaara ski stadium 10.00 (Hiihtomajantie 30)
• Finish line is located in Madekoskella, Metsäkouluntie
• Race series start 10 minutes before recreational series.
• Skiing is conducted on road number 8300 North side of river Oulu.

Race office

Race offices are located  start locations in Utajärvi and Muhos and they are opened 90 minutes prior to race start. Skiers in race classes are offered roller skis from Ski Go. Recreational skiers ski with their own skis, which safety is checked before the start.

• Print you receipt! You´ll receive number tags (bibs) in exchange to the receipt.
• If you ski in Race series, don´t forget to mention also your licence number and your system code for your skiing boots (NNN or SNS).
• Pre registration ends August 18th, but you can registrate up to 60 minutes before the start. In that case only cash is accepted. We appreciate pre registration to avoid rush at the office.

 Safety

• Helmet is mandatory.
• Recreational skiers´s skis get checked for appropriateness and safety 10 minutes prior to start. We only allow classic style skis.
• Skiing happens with ones own responsibility according to traffic guidelines and restrictions. Make sure you are insured.
• Ski only on right side of the road. Disqualification is the result from crossing the center line.
• Skiing in skating style is  strictly forbidden.

Awards

In race series five best are awarded and it recreational series three best.

Drink stations

• Utajärvi – Oulu (55km) three drink stations
• Muhos – Oulu (27km) two drink stations
• Sports drinks, water, juice,  raisins, salty snacks
• Own drinking service can also be organized for the locations reserved for them close to pre mentioned drink stations.
