1. General Information
WE RECOMMEND USING THE ORGANIZER’S BUS TRANSPORTATION AND CARPOOLING.
Participants must book transportation when registering.

The transportation fee is paid at the time of registration.

• Transportation to Sankivaara: 10€ per person
• Transportation to Hiukkavaaratalo: 5€ per person

 

2. Transportation Schedule from Ouluhalli (Ouluhallintie 20, 90130 Oulu)

Classic skiing style departure times:

• To Hiukkavaaratalo at 7:00 for the 56 km start, at 8:30 for the 25 km start (5€)
• To Sankivaara at 7:45 for the 40 km start (10€)

Skating skiing style departure times:

• To Hiukkavaaratalo at 9:30 for the 56 km and 25 km starts (5€)
• To Sankivaara at 10:15 for the 40 km start (10€)

 

3. Transportation Schedule from Ritaharju Community Center to Ouluhalli
Transportation starts at 11:30 and runs every hour with Pohjolan Matka Oy buses. The last bus departs at 16:30. Transportation is free for skiers.

 

4. Parking Areas

• Sankivaara: Biathlon stadium parking area
• Hiukkavaaratalo: Ice rink parking area
• Ritaharju: Very limited parking available at the community center

Transportation to start areas

The price for transportation to Sankivaara in Oulu is 10 €/person and to Hiukkavaara 5 €/person. The buss driver will collect the fee upon entry to the bus. Kindly reserve the exact amount in cash.

The buses start in the parking lot next to Ouluhalli, Adress: Ouluhallintie 20, 90130 OULU. Please be prepared to pay with cash at the bus.

Transportation for skiers taking part for Classic style

• 56 km, the buses to Hiukkavaara leave at 7 am
• 40 km the buses to Sankivaara leave at 7:40 am
• 25km the buses to Hiukkavaara leave at 8:30 am

Transportation for skiers taking part for Freestyle

• 56 km, the buses to Hiukkavaara leave at 8:30 am
• 40km, the buses to Sankivaara leave at 9:40 am
• 25 km, the buses to Hiukkavaara leave at 10:15 am

Transportation after finishing

Facilities for having lunch, taking a shower and participating in the prize ceremony are situated at the Ritaharju School. Address: Ritakierros 2, 90540 Oulu

Buses from finish are in Ritaharju back to Ouluhalli will start running 1 pm in every hour. This trip is free of charge.
